Sales & Business Development Executive Vacancy

We are looking for a high-performing, proven Sales & Business Development Executive to assist us in meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, and to help the company become more competitive, innovative and profitable. You will be responsible for maximising our sales potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Part of your responsibilities will include developing new partnerships with international and local educational institutions, private agencies, accommodation providers and companies. You will be responsible for selling work & study programmes, processing enquiries, converting sales, welcoming new clients, and working across Cork and Dublin.

Job Duties:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities
  • Visiting potential customers for new business and developing and maintaining relationships
  • Attending trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations to represent the employing organisation
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Design and implement a strategic Sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new services.
  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results
  • Implement sales programs per service
  • Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing and expanding on networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Interested in international work and study.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure projects can be implemented within budget

Skills and Qualifications:

  • One to Four years in a sales representative role; within  the work study and travel industry if possible although not a pre requisite
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong intrapersonal skills.
  • Meeting Sales Goals, Negotiation, Motivation for Sales, Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Market Knowledge, Developing Budgets.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
