Digital Media & Marketing Specialist  

If you live and breathe all things digital, we want to talk to you! We’re looking for a qualified Digital Media & Marketing Specialist to join our team. You will lead our marketing efforts using new media and digital tools.

If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, like websites, videos, newsletters and blogs, this position is for you. You will work to coordinate, develop, implement, track and optimise our digital marketing and promotional activities across all digital channels.

Ultimately, you should be able to promote our company and increase client engagement using various digital technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns aligned with our business goals and in multiple languages
  • Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, promotional material and videos)
  • Manage end-to-end digital projects
  • Control our web presence to boost brand awareness
  • Maintain and build a strong online company voice through social media
  • Following and ensure brand consistency across all media
  • Suggest and implement marketing methods to increase profitability
  • Measure, monitor and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise budget spend and performance based on the insights
  • Stay up-to-date with and evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field
  • Proven working experience (3+ years) in digital marketing
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems is essential (WordPress and WooCommerce)
  • Experience in optimising website landing pages
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, email (MailChimp), social media and Google AdWords campaignsAbby
  • Highly creative with solid knowledge and design experience in Adobe illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign or other media editing software
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Trends etc.)
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS an advantage
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in the study, education and travel industry is desirable
