What kind of experience can a Spanish student gain in Ireland ?

At the beginning, it’s absolutely normal to be a little nervous when you travel to a foreign country that speaks a different language! However, Ireland is one of the best countries in the world for gaining work experience. Irish people are very friendly to foreign students and are always willing to help you at any time. Furthermore, the  Irish landscapes are must-see.

Here are my highlights so far!
experiencesCobh, County Cork

Cobh is a perfect place to enjoy the day with some friends. You can visit the “Titanic museum“ and admire an outstanding cathedral as well plus  it;s less than 30 minutes from cork city via train.

Ross Castle, Killarney.

Killarney is a good option for spending time in the nature. Rent a bike and visit the “Ross Castle“ and the waterfall!

Ross Castle sits on the edge of Killarney’s lower lake and was built by O’Donoghue Mór in the 15th century. The Castle came into the hands of the Brownes who became the Earls of Kenmare and owned an extensive portion of the lands that are now part of Killarney National Park . Legend has it that O’Donoghue still exists in a deep slumber under the waters of Lough Leane.

Meeting other international students

Working in a foreign company gives you the chance to meet people from all over the world and learn about different working cultures as well gaining  vlauable work experience which brings your CV on a higher level.

Don’t forget the most important thing…you will improve your English level!

Inchydoney Beach, Clonakilty

The Blue Flag beach at Inchydoney Island, just a few miles from Clonakilty, is renowned not only as one of the most familyfriendly beaches in West Cork but also as one of the most beautiful. With vast expanses of sand, dunes and excellent surfing conditions there really is something for everyone.

ExperienceSmithwick’s Experience, Kilkenny

When you visit Ireland, it‘s essential to taste the famous Irish beer. For this you need to use the opportunity to discover Kilkenny. We highly recommend you to visit the “Smithwick Factory“. At this brewery you have the possibility to see the way Irish people brew their own fantastic beer.

I would like to thank Partnership International for this wonderful opportunity. If you would like to work study or travel abroad check out the Partnership International website.
