Experience the hidden free Dublin!

Are you planning on visiting Dublin, but you don’t have a lot of extra cash in your pocket? No worries amigo, because everything is possible in Ireland. Even in one of the most expensive cities in Europe, you can enjoy and have fun without spending a lot of money. It depends on your perspective.

Hold your breath, because here comes the first bit of good news..! (drum roll) All of Dublin´s world famous sites are only a few streets apart, and you can visit places such as Dublin Castle, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Temple Bar, and Trinity College all in one day… No need to take the bus! All you need it is a morning walk to find each and everyone of these places! 😮

And now you will be asking yourself… “And what about the museums? Why does nobody think about museums?” Well, you can find a lot of museums of all shapes and colors around Dublin, although, there maybe an extra price to pay.

However, there are some tricks for enjoying some of them for FREE. For example, the famous Trinity College library. Yeah! That everyone gets confused with the famous Harry Potter library, yep! That one! but it is not the same one. Well, the price to go inside this amazing library is 14€. A lot of money, I know. Anyway, there is a way to go inside for free and I am willing to fill you in.

So let’s think about this for a minute, the library is part of the Trinity University where students pay to study there, so do students have to pay for using the library? Of course not! And now the best part, each student can bring two people inside the library for free. Unbelievable, right? That is what an Italian friend and I thought, so we decided to test it! Do you think we made it? You’ll find the answer in this video 😉

On the other hand, if you are nature and animal lover and you’re thinking about visiting the zoo, buuuut you don’t have a lot of money… I have the perfect alternative for you. Right next to the zoo there is a huge beautiful park called Phoenix Park, where you can find wild deers. Yey! Animals! Yeah, well… there’s a small problem, the park is pretty big, 720 hectare to be exact. But we wanted to find Bambi so badly…!! So then we went on our adventure!

Well, I hope you find today’s post useful (at least to spend a couple of cheap days in Dublin) and I guess that’s all for today! Cheers!

If you’d like to meet Bambi, improve your language skills, gain professional work skills and experience Dublin just like Ana has, then check out our internship packages in Dublin and get in touch with us today!
