The first Erasmus+ programme was launched in 1987 by the European Commission. It is the new programme of the European Union for education, training, youth and sport, aimed at supporting people to study, train, work or volunteer abroad, in order to boost skills and employability.

Erasmus + offers opportunities for young people, but also adult learners, volunteers, lecturers, teachers, trainers, youth workers, professionals of organisations active in the fields of education, training and youth. It offers the possibility to live and study in one of the 33 programme countries in Europe but also in partner countries all over the world.

This experience will give the participant a lot of added values and new professional skills needed for today’s job market. It may also enhance their employability and improve their career prospect.
