Hi! It’s Mary, from Italy, my internship here in Ireland is sadly coming to and end, so I thought i’d tell you 5 things I will miss about this beautiful country.
1. The people
I will miss the people of Cork City because I had opportunity to practice my English skills and they are so friendly! I will also miss the people I lived with because I met so many nice people from different countries.
2. The places
Ireland has so many places that are worth visiting and I have really enjoyed going on adventures around the country. I have been to Kinsale, the Cliffs of Moher, Blarney Castle, Dublin, Dingle, Killarney. My favourite place to visit was the Cliffs of Moher because it was so beautiful and I think everyone who visits Ireland should see it.
3. Living with friends
Some of my most memorable moments during my internship were with the people I lived with. I loved living with such a nice group of people and I know we will be life-long friends.
4. My work placement
I will definitely miss my work placement, I had so much fun making videos and editing them. It is my passion to become a director, so the experience was great. I also enjoyed working in a team and I made friends with a lovely English girl called Libby.
5. Uga (The Fish)
I have never had a pet before, so I loved the Partnership International mascot, a fish called Uga. She was the best thing about Ireland and what I will miss the most!
Ciao for now!
